Graham joined the Club in the 1965/66 cricket season and played in the Schoolboy side, which won the Q.C.A. Schoolboy competition. In the following year, he played mainly in the Intermediate Grade and headed the bowling averages with 27 wickets at 10.44.
He progressed through the grades and in the years 1968/69 to 1970/71 played in the Reserve and A Grades. He first captained the Reserve Grade side in 1971/72 season and has been its Captain since the 1974/75 season. His earnestness in this captaincy, with its selection responsibilities, has been exemplary.
On 4th August, 1969, he was appointed Honorary Secretary of the Club, a position he still holds, and soon after was appointed as a Club Delegate to the Q.C.A. In the administrative sphere, he has rendered signal service to the Club by his efficiency and enthusiasm and his readiness to assist. In addition, he played a leading role in Club fund raising activities and was responsible for one long running success.
As President of the Club, I count myself fortunate to have been closely associated with Graham.
